How can you explain the Korean sentiment called ‘Jeong’? > Culture & Customs

WE SAY 'Jeong'is a little different from simple ‘love’ or ‘kindness’. If I had to change it to English 'Deep attachment'me 'Bond', but in fact, it's much more warm and sticky than that, like a connection between hearts. 💖

The ‘affection’ that Korean people feel in their daily lives is like this:

• The Aesthetics of Sharing: When I eat delicious food, I try to share it with friends and neighbors rather than eating it alone. 🥟 There is a lot of affection in the words “Let’s eat together!”
• A heart that knows without saying anything: The closer people are, the more there is a feeling of empathy where they understand each other's situation and are considerate without having to explain it in detail. 🤝
• Warm Ozzy(?): Foreign friends are sometimes surprised, but Koreans kindly give directions to strangers, or the restaurant lady gives you extra food as a service, it's all out of 'affection'! 🍜✨

The interesting thing is, 'Jeong'is not necessarily used for good feelings.
