It is pointed out that for these environmental problems, clubs should no longer place responsibility solely on individual practices or the voluntary participation of stores. Environmental groups strongly recommend that clubs establish guidelines for standardizing reusable containers at the club level and introduce a strong system that mandates the use of recyclable containers from the contract stage with stores. The fact that over 36,000 disposable items were thrown out during seven home games proves that the club is not properly performing its role as a priming agent for environmental protection. The social responsibility that a sports club has as a member of the local community is as important as winning, and now is the time to have a concrete roadmap to break the entrenched structure of disposable products in stadiums.
