However, unlike these brilliant external results, the domestic political scene is walking on thin ice. Recent polls show President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating has plummeted by 9 percentage points since before the local elections, turning on warning lights. Negative sentiment regarding real estate policy was the highest, which, as Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon pointed out, seems to reflect public anxiety that the government is repeating the failures of the previous administration's real estate policies.
